As a social leader, I believe it is crucial to be aware of the impact my actions have on others and the environment. This mission reflects my commitment to leading with integrity, creativity, and empathy, ensuring that my work contributes positively to society and minimizes harm.
I am a textbook Generalist (if there was a textbook). I thrive in connecting diverse ideas and people to create innovative solutions. My leadership style is collaborative and inclusive, valuing the input of all people involved. I believe in leading by example, demonstrating integrity, empathy, and a commitment to continuous learning. My goal is to inspire others to reach their full potential while fostering a positive and productive environment.
Coming into college, before the leadership studies minor, my primary focus was building community and spreading awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. This drive evolved into social impact awareness when I joined PLC. My domain expanded from a more limited view of my nonprofit work, to an awareness of educational policy and local initiatives. With this awareness I realized how limited perspectives can be on social issues, which is why I value knowing the people I work with and understanding their experiences and viewpoints. This evolution has deepened my commitment to inclusive leadership and has shaped my approach to creating positive change.
